| Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) teach Computer Studies Education courses at undergraduate and graduate levels; (ii) supervise students’ research projects, thesis and dissertations at both undergraduate and graduate levels; (iii) supervise students in internship (iv) participate in the academic, professional and community service; (v) Undertake any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department. Requirements: Lecturer: candidates should have (i) a relevant Masters Degree (ii) a BEd in Computer Studies Education or a related discipline with at least a 2(i) pass and an overall aggregate not less than 65%; (iii) show evidence of engagement in research and service; (iv) teaching experience at a University or comparable institution and demonstration of effective academic leadership will be added advantages. Senior Lecturer: candidates should have (i) a relevant Masters Degree (ii) a BEd in Computer Studies Education or a related discipline with at least a 2(i) pass and an overall aggregate not less than 65%; (ii) a minimum of three (3) years teaching experience at a University or comparable institution; (iii) have a good and sustained record of research and publications with at least 6 publications, 4 of which are peer reviewed journal articles; (iv) lead and/or single author in at least 2 refereed journal articles or book chapters; (v) applicants should demonstrate evidence of service; (iv) demonstration of effective academic leadership will be an added advantage.
