LECTURERS IN HUMAN GEOGRAPHY
The School of Geography, Archaeology and Environmental Studies, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, invites applications for two Senior Lecturer/Lecturer positions in Human Geography.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: We seek applicants with a PhD in Geography who show evidence of being, or potential for becoming, excellent independent scholars, productive publishers, good teachers and post-graduate supervisors, and successful research fund raisers. Applicants in any research field in Human Geography will be considered.
DUTIES: Responsibilities will include undergraduate as well as postgraduate teaching and supervision, research and publication, and service to the Geography Division, School of Geography, Archaeology and Environmental Studies and the University. All candidates will be given full consideration.
