Program Coordinator Terre des Hommes Netherlands
Terre des Hommes Netherlands (Earth for Mankind) is a Dutch organization founded in 1965, as a non-profit organization. Terre des Hommes Netherlands aims to improve the quality of life of children in difficult circumstances all over the world, regardless of race, faith and/or political orientation and to have their rights as laid down in the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child protected and assured.
Terre des Hommes Netherlands Regional Office South East Asia based in Jakarta, Indonesia is looking for a Program Coordinator in-charge of Terre des Hommes funded projects in the Mekong Region (Thailand and Myanmar).
Key Responsibilities
- input to thematic and country policies, intervention plans and reporting
- context analysis of proposed projects, including budgets
- project monitoring and evaluation
- networking with relevant persons and institutions on issues concerning project operations
Qualifications, knowledge and experience
- Appropriate education and at least 5 years experience in development work
- Competence in analysing data, objective oriented project planning and proposal writing
- Effective project management and competent social skills
- Competent team player, conscious about different cross cultural values, gender sensitive and child focussed.
This position is for Thai citizen and local remuneration and secondary benefits apply. The Program Coordinator will be stationed in Bangkok, Thailand in the office of Terre des Hommes Germany, one of the members of the Terre des Hommes International Federation.
Knowledge of project management, child protection issues and the political, religious and social structures of the respective region, as well as proficiency in English is an added value for this position.
