The Advanced Technology Centre (ATC) in Singapore performs corporate Research & Technology activities across a broad portfolio of technology fields. The Manufacturing Technology department of ATC has an exciting Project Manager position to develop advanced robotic finishing technology and processes. The position will focus on the improvement of robotized manufacturing processes, techniques, or equipment in order to reduce cost, increase efficiency, enhance reliability or to incorporate safety and environmental measures.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical development of advanced robotized finishing technology and processes, and selected manufacturing technology processes
  • Programme management of multiple projects. Key tasks include project scoping and planning, team management, global stakeholder communication and technology transfer
  • Manage directly reporting technical professionals working on robotized finishing technology projects
  • Develop and manage relationships with multiple research partners in Singapore

Requirements:

  • Masters or PhD degree in engineering. Bachelors degree holders with more than *10 years experience are welcome to apply
  • Knowledge of advanced robot technology and processes, particularly the application of robots in manufacturing processes (e.g. deburring, polishing, profiling, etc)
  • Ability to lead a team of professionals including researchers and engineers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Highly self-motivated, strong analytical skills and result driven
