Reservations & Ticketing Agent

Job Purpose
  • To optimise all front desk and call centre activity with guests lead to potential sales outcome
  • Ensure Etihad reservations and ticketing policies and procedures are correctly implemented
  • Deliver customer service to exceed guest expectations
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
  • Ensure all revenue, yield, volume and EY Holidays targets achieved
  • Monitor queues, issue PTAs and assist with TODs
  • Ensure all monies accounted for and TSR tallies
    C
    omplete pre-flight checks to agreed standards
  • Ensure ticket stock correctly logged, stocked, stored and all material properly stocked and displayed
  • Keep up to date on product, service, policies procedures Ensure telephone enquiries are answered within 3 rings
  • Sell up on 20% of sales opportunities
Requirements
  • High school graduate
  • 2 years airline or travel agency experience in a reservations and ticketing role preferred
  • Etihad reservation system*AMADEUS* - courses in reservations and ticketing
  • Airline advanced passenger tariff and pricing course.
    Recognized IATA or knowledge in rules and regulation of airline restrictions
  • Good written and oral English language skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to short lead times.
    Able to work on own initiative
  • Good PC skills include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet
  • Numerate
