Accounts Assistant -FCO

A part time (4 hrs a day, 20 hrs a week) temporary vacancy has become available as an LEIV Accounts Assistant in the Accounts team of Corporate Services Benelux. Main Responsibilities

  • Process invoices and expense claims on Prism (FCO accounting system);
  • Prepare electronic payment batches;
  • Filing;
  • Escort cashier to the bank;
  • Handle routine accounts related queries.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Excellent organisation skills; proven ability to plan and prioritise tasks to deliver results;
  • Experience of working in a team;
  • Ability to solve problems and pay attention to detail;
  • Strong numerical skills;
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills;
  • Good IT skills with sound working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel;
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience of computer based accounting system;
  • Working knowledge of Dutch.

The successful candidate must attend a training course on Prism (the FCO Oracle based accounting system) in the UK during 2 to 6 July 2012.

This position will be filled on a fixed term contract.

Gross monthly salary: € 1152.26
