African Development Bank Jobs in Tunisia

Established in 1964, the African Development Bank is the premier pan-African development institution fostering economic growth and social progress across the continent. Our primary goal is to reduce poverty and improve living standards by providing financial and technical assistance for transformative development projects. With a total of 77 member states, including 53 in Africa, we have the resources to change futures. You can be central to everything we do.
Chief Disbursement Controller

Setting the highest standards of internal control for the disbursement management process, you will ensure the integrity of our data and provide high-level advice to senior management. At the same time, you will oversee the processing of loans and grants, contribute to monitoring portfolios and constantly monitor compliance with best practice. Alongside a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, you will bring extensive professional experience and strong working knowledge of SAP R/3 (preferably including certification in CML or FI). In particular, you will be skilled in all aspects of internal audit, capable of delivering multiple projects concurrently, and ready to take some far-reaching decisions.

Chief Financial Statistician

At the heart of our Loan Accounting Division, you will devise and implement financial models, processes and methodologies to monitor our grant portfolio. Equally importantly, you will produce realistic and reliable long-term disbursement and loan income forecasts, sensitivity analyses and focused financial information, whilst playing a central part in shaping future policy. Qualified to Master’s degree or MBA level in a quantitative discipline (Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research, Finance or Mathematics), you will possess an excellent command of financial management concepts and innate flair for analysing raw data, drawing conclusions and generating recommendations. Needless to say, you are fully familiar with operating at senior management level and highly computer literate, with good working knowledge of SAP 3/R, particularly in the area of FI or TR.

Principal Credit Risk Officer

In this important role, you will assist in developing methods for processing and analysing data, whilst preparing Special Country Risk notes, assessing survey questionnaires and compiling economic data from a wide variety of sources. Together with a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Business Administration or Applied Economics, you will join us with broad experience of sovereign credit risk analysis methodologies, polices and guidelines, giving you everything you need to oversee a varied portfolio.

Senior IT Specialist and Risk Officer

You can expect considerable technical challenge as you maintain our Credit Risk applications and provide comprehensive support to users, involving the creation of ad hoc tools as required. What’s more, you will constantly evaluate our hardware and software requirements, play a vital part in configuration and maintenance, and define security and disaster recovery processes. Qualified to Master’s degree level in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Finance and Banking, you will bring an impressive track record in analysis and programming within a risk management setting. Notably, you must be able to hit the ground running in a Visual Studio development environment and make a positive contribution from day one.

For all positions, it is essential that you are fluent in either English or French, with good working knowledge of the other language.
