We are recruiting for a Clinical Research Policy and Campaigns Advisor to coordinate and take forward the charity’s research campaigning activity to represent people affected by Parkinson’s in research campaigning and ensure their voice is heard.

Possessing skills in research and analysis, you will have experience of developing a range of campaigning strategies to bring about change in the research arena and have the ability to identify the key research campaigning areas in which the charity can make a real difference.

Using your excellent diplomatic and political skills, you will be experienced in influencing research policy within the UK and at European level. You will also be able to influence and persuade at all levels and engage people in campaigning.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to forge good working relationships externally and internally, building successful networks and partnerships. You will also have excellent writing skills including the preparation of campaigning materials for different audiences.

An understanding of the policy context for medical research and strategies for campaigning and influencing policy is also essential.
