Communication & Fundraiser Intern Fair Trials International

RESPONSIBILITIES
Working with the Fundraiser to:
- Research and identify potential funders;
- Draft initial correspondence with potential donors and supporters and following up the contact;
- Draft funding applications and performance reports;
- Review supporters engagement with FT1 and record involvement;
- Thank and update supporters;
- Assist with planning fundraising events and drafting funding materials ; and
- Maintain data on FT1's key fundraising contacts.
Working with the Media Officer to:
- Update content on FT1's website;
- Draft key communication materials including press releases, supporters newsletter, campaign puЫications and case summaries; and distribute materials;
- Gather statistical information, compelling images and quotes;
- Assist with event planning for FT1 events and to organise media interviews;
- Monitor and record press coverage; and
- Update FT1's You Tube, Facebook and Twitter accounts while monitoring social network sites for further opportunities.

- Familiar with social networking (Facebook, Twitter etc) and social media (YouTube);
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, adapting your style for a variety of audiences;
