Transparency International (TI) is the global civil society organisation leading the fight against corruption. Through more than 90 chapters worldwide and an international secretariat in Berlin, Germany, TI raises awareness of the damaging effects of corruption and works with partners in government, business and civil society to develop and implement effective measures to tackle it.
TI is the Secretariat to the International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC). Held every two years in a different part of the world and overseen by the IACC Council, the Conference is the world’s most important event for all who are committed to the fight against corruption. Gathering more than 1.5 thousand participants from more than 140 Countries, the conference is a vibrant and proactive platform for innovation and change. Now in its 15th edition, the next IACC will take place in Brazil, November 2012.
MAIN FUNCTION: | The International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) Series Officer supports the IACC team in coordinating all finances, logistics and hospitality related to the IACC Series including Workshop Participation Fund (WPF), VIP funds, reimbursements and the closing of IACC Conference finances. |
