The School of Medicine is seeking to appoint a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology to join the University of Western Sydney's School of Medicine. The Professor will take responsibility for leadership to develop and maintain excellence in teaching and research in the broad area of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The successful candidate will also be appointed Medical Director for the delivery of Obstetrics and Gynaecology services within the South Western Sydney Local Health District.

The responsibilities of this position include providing major contributions in the areas of research, academic leadership, teaching and learning at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Opportunities also exist and will be encouraged for collaboration in research, as well as in clinical service delivery.
