Specialist: SAP HR Super User

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To work as part of the OneERP (SAP) HR team in the Continental Africa Region (CAR) during the build and implementation phase of the project. Responsible for the HR aspects of developing, integrating and maintaining / administering all the processes and controls around master data uploads for SAP HR modules. A key of this role will involve managing the interim and transitional period of working with HR legacy systems and master data requirements and their integration with other key systems or applications. Work with the other HR stakeholders with regards to master data quality assurance and establishing best practice and optimal process and business solutions.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & AUTHORITIES:

  • Provide CARO with effective and efficient SAP HR master data support during data migration and establishment.
  • Ensure master data is accurate, compliant with policy and established within defined service levels. Investigate data concerns, and coordinate changes with relevant functions to guarantee master data robustness.
  • Be a catalyst for continuous improvement in the central function process and service level support.
  • Provide support for maintenance, auditing and administration of master data.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A recognised 3-year Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Social Sciences or equivalent and/or within an IT related field.
  • Working experience within an HR and/or IT environment.
  • A minimum of 3 years' working experience with SAP HR, specifically master data management.
  • Experience in SAP implementation projects will be advantageous
