Conciliation Resources India-Pakistan (Kashmir) Finance Officer

India-Pakistan (Kashmir) Finance Officer

  • Full-time (37.5 hours)
  • Fixed-term contract (until 30 November 2014)
  • London-based, with occasional travel
  • Salary: £27,372 plus 9% employer pension contribution
  • Our programme in Jammu and Kashmir works to enhance prospects for a non-violent transformation of the long-standing conflict over the disputed territories of Jammu and Kashmir. The India-Pakistan (Kashmir) Finance Officer will provide financial, accounting, administrative services and logistical support to the programme. They will monitor financial activities of partner organisations, projects and programme to meet internal and external reporting requirements.
    Candidates should have significant experience of using accounting software, processing financial transactions for overseas expenditure and of working on donor funded contracts, with complex reporting requirements. They should have excellent numeracy and IT skills. A willingness to travel occasionally is also required.
