IRC Regional Programme Manager (West Africa and Haiti)


The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is a leading global humanitarian and post-conflict development organisation working in more than 20 conflict-affected countries worldwide.
IRC-UK is the European headquarters, established in 1997 as an independent British charity. IRC-UK contributes to programme management, fundraising for overseas programmes, and policy and advocacy on conflict-related issues in Britain and Europe.
The Regional Programme Managers (RPMs) are tasked with identifying and facilitating proposal development and donor liaison and, in collaboration with IRC-UK’s Advocacy department, furthering IRC’s advocacy goals, reporting to the Director of the International Programme Team. The main purpose of the position is to facilitate European business development for IRC country offices.
This position is central to IRC-UK’s business development function and requires a motivated, flexible, problem-solving team-player with excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise activities and work to tight deadlines. Competence in French is an essential requirement of the position.
