Kyrgyzstan Field Officer


PAE Government Services, under contract for the U.S. Department of State, is seeking applications from well-qualified U.S. citizens for the following position within the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE):

Requirements include, but are not limited to:
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in relevant fields such as local government support, political affairs, civil society development and governance, legal affairs, human rights and/or anti-trafficking and anti-corruption
  • Prior field experience
  • Negotiating experience, preferably in the area of monitoring operations and/or related activities
  • Demonstrated experience in project development and/or related activities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to draft documents clearly and concisely
  • Ability to establish contact and develop confident relations with the local authorities as well as the ability to work with government officials and institutions
  • Professional fluency in Russian, both oral and written
  • Previous international work experience and/or experience in field missions in Central Asia (desired)
  • Working knowledge of Kyrgyz/Uzbek languages (desired)
