Aalto University School of Business invites applications for a

TENURE TRACK or TENURED POSITION in
Organization and Management,
to be filled on any level from Assistant Professor to Tenured Professor

The position is located in the Department of Management and International Business (http://management.aalto.fi/en/disciplines/organization_management/). The Department hosts four disciplinary areas: Organization and Management, International Business, Entrepreneurship, and Philosophy of Management. In terms of personnel, Organization and Management is the largest, including seven full professors.

The disciplinary academic community of Organization and Management has several thematic focus areas such as global business and strategy, innovations, studies of higher education, science and technology studies, professional practice and developmental work, human resources, gender studies, sustainability, and business ethics. Critical thinking and qualitative methods as well as practice- and discourse-theoretical approaches are common denominators for the research done in many of the thematic areas.  Instead of mainstream management studies, approaches drawing on sociology, social psychology, cultural studies, anthropology, and political science are highly valued within the disciplinary community. The present call is opened to all areas within organization and management studies but preference is given to candidates whose scientific and pedagogic achievements support the specialization areas and the above mentioned common denominators in the disciplinary community.
