EastEnders needs little introduction, it’s the multi award winning soap broadcast four times a week on BBC ONE. It currently ranks as one of the most watched TV dramas in the UK attracting millions of dedicated viewers on-screen and online every week. We are looking for an experienced Post Production Co-ordinator, reporting to the Post Production Supervisor, EastEnders. 

Role

You will be solely responsible for ensuring all post production paperwork is accurately completed and submitted, using P4A and for selecting and clearing all commercial music for the show, completing Post Production Scripts and filling in weekly SAP requisitions. To help manage a busy workload you will have assistance from the production secretary and office runner. It will be part of your role to identify suitable work to delegate to them, and oversee its completion and accuracy.

Requirements

A genuine interest in television drama production, a passion for EastEnders, and a keen interest in popular music across all genres is required. Knowledge of BBC post production paperwork requirements and experience using P4A (or similar) is necessary. You will need excellent planning and organising skills with substantial experience of working in a demanding office / post production environment and the ability to work under own initiative and manage a busy and demanding workload. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to establish and maintain effective working relations within the Production & Post Production team at EastEnders is essential.

The post is office-based, and in general, normal office hours will apply. However, a flexible approach to working hours may be occasionally required.
