ActionAid Volunteer - Finance

Gain valuable hands on work experience and an insight into how a busy finance department in an international charity works as a volunteer Finance Assistant at ActionAid.
As part of our team you will you provide day-to-day admin support to a five strong finance department. You will help ensure things run smoothly by organising filing, processing petty cash and expenses in the finance system, managing post and answering phones and emails. Whether assisting prepare finance training manuals and guidance notes or arranging meetings and taking minutes we will make sure you gain new skills and enhance existing ones.
Probably educated to ‘A’ level standard or equivalent you will have an interest in international development charities. Highly organised you will be comfortable managing admin systems and have strong PC and communication skills. You will also have an excellent command of English and a good telephone manner.
