IFRS / Audit Experts

You will be in charge of

  • Providing technical and strategic support to FEE working groups and projects in the field of reporting, including: managing work programme and activities, guiding discussions, encouraging consensus, noting conclusions and implementing agreed actions
  • Writing position papers, surveys, comment letters, briefings or facts sheets based on own research and considering input from FEE working groups and stakeholders
  • Gathering intelligence in EU and international affairs relevant to FEE and its Members

You have

  • Excellent research and analytical competences, with a proven ability to work autonomously, well organised, good at planning and problem solving
  • Ideally 3-5 years of experience in an audit firm and relevant expertise in financial and non-financial reporting; knowledge or interest in other areas of work of the accountancy profession would be a plus
  • Higher education (a professional qualification in one the EU Member States would be a plus)
  • High ability to explain complex matters in simple words, good English writing skills as well as communication, networking and diplomatic skills
  • Interest in EU affairs

Selected candidates will be invited to a short meeting (or telephone conversation if they are not based in Brussels) to discuss their motivation and better understand the organisation and the position. They will then be invited to Brussels for final interviews and a written test consisting in the preparation of a short essay on a topic related to FEE (travel expenses will be reimbursed).
