Intern with an interest in Financial Services & European Affairs

General information

  • 6­month to 1 year remunerated stage
  • Starting date: Summer 2013 

The successful candidate will have

  • An interest in Financial Services and European Affairs.
  • Knowledge of EU policymaking process.
  • Excellent writing, analytical and research skills.
  • Initiative and creativity when it comes to problem-solving.
  • Prior experience in a professional services firm (i.e. insurance company, law or auditing firms, bank, public affairs or management consultants) is an advantage.
  • Dynamic and capable of structuring and managing the work independently.
  • Fluency in English as working language.
  • Studies in economics are a plus.
  • IT skills. 

The main responsibilities will include

  • Assisting with research and analysis and preparing draft reports, mainly related to Financial Services matters and policy.
  • Daily monitoring of relevant information sources and reporting on key developments.
  • Meeting & event organisation, logistics and follow-ups.
