Job Description:	Core Purpose: The waste engineer shall be responsible for the execution of solid waste design related infrastructure, which will include pre-feasibility, feasibility, planning, construction and operation.  The work may involve design and construction of additional civil engineering projects. Minimum Requirements ·         BSc degree (Civil Engineering) or equivalent ·         In the process of registering or registered with Pr Eng or equivalent ·         Minimum 5 years experience in the design and construction of waste transfer sections, solid waste sites, Buy Back Centers (BBC), Material Recovery Centres (MRF) Key Responsibility Areas The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: Undertake pre-feasibility and feasibility studies Preliminary and detail design of solid waste related infrastructure Compile tender documents, contract documents and tender reports Construction supervision Travel within South Africa and outside borders of South Africa Ensure project meet quality standard
