Campaigns Volunteer

Salary:Reasonable travel & lunch allowance paid
Contract:2 days per week for a minimum of 3 months
Location:Central London

This volunteer role, helping to deliver our Campaigns and Policy work across key campaign areas at ActionAid, is a great opportunity to develop your skills and gain valuable work experience in a major international NGO.
Join us and you will work alongside an experienced Campaign Officer helping organise and deliver a programme of events, stunts and activities designed to engage ActionAid supporters and key decision makers.
You will be involved in high profile campaigning such as Tax Justice, theLobbying Bill and Women’s Rights and assist in creating campaign materials, providing logistical support, research activities and helping out with everyday tasks to ensure things run smoothly.
Motivated to promote change you’ll be the kind of person who has an interest in campaigning and organising events, is highly organised and possesses good PC skills. You will also be a strong team player who is able take the initiative and prioritise work- loads when needed. A good standard of English is essential.
