We are currently seeking to recruit a Legal and Compliance Counsel.

This is an opportunity for a senior Compliance professional to really make a difference within a high performing legal team at Plan, one of the world’s leading children’s charities.
Creating a new Compliance function within the team, you will be identifying, developing and implementing new compliance systems and process. You will be responsible for ensuring that Plan is well advised on the legal, compliance and regulatory issues that affect our wide and varied operations, and helping evaluate and manage those risks. In order to fulfil these responsibilities you will have the backing of a number of external global legal firms. This is a highly complex role but will offer excellent exposure at the highest levels within Plan.
You’ll need to be a qualified lawyer either in the UK or the US and be experienced in developing and maintaining external compliance systems and processes. You’ll bring your problem solving skills to provide pragmatic solutions to complex issues and your ability to think and advise strategically.

Type of role: 6 month Interim position
Reporting to: Director of Legal and Governance & General Counsel
Salary: £50k - £60k per annum
