Our unique approach to Market Access revolves around ensuring patient access to the treatments they need, when they need them. We achieve this through an integrated Market Access offering, bringing together a specialised team of individuals with diverse experience in payer communications, payer evidence generation, policymaker engagement, and patient advocacy. Our "4Ps" approach aims to generate acceptance of new treatments amongst Payers, Policymakers, Patient advocates and Professionals in the healthcare field.
OHWMA is recruiting a Business Partner.
The position is based in the Ogilvy Healthworld offices in London, UK.
Overriding objective
Working closely with the leadership team of the Market Access division of Ogilvy Healthworld (OHWMA) to manage client accounts and help grow client business.
Overview of the role
- Manage client accounts;
- Support new business efforts;
- Manage Market Access team members on key projects, as appropriate;
- Support marketing efforts.
Background
- Demonstrable policy/advocacy/public affairs OR data communication competencies;
- Strong client handling skills;
- New business development experience;
- Knowledge and understanding of all the key business disciplines (PR, Medical Education, Policy and Public Affairs, Marketing, HEOR and Pricing);
- Academic degree/s in relevant discipline/s;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Strong team player, with some team management experience preferable;
- Professional;
- A minimum of 5 years’ work experience;
- Clear written and verbal communication;
- Self-motivated and pro-active mindset;
- A strong passion for the healthcare business and a desire to be at the forefront of healthcare communications.
Specifics of the role
Client Management
- Manage the day-to-day running of client accounts;
- Ensure projects are implemented to quality standards and meet deadlines;
- Delegate projects to team members and oversee implementation;
- Ensure staff ownership and responsibility for projects;
- Ensure regular client update or programme/project progress, and manage any changes to planned activities that may occur;
- Responsible for regular client contacts;
- Responsible for accurate estimating, billing, awareness of budgetary status at all times to ensure account budget is not exceeded and ensure project profitability;
- Maintain and strengthen understanding of account Market Access areas and industry/environment issues pertinent to clients;
- Regularly review programme strategy against new issues/external environment;
- Contribute to strategic planning meetings with client;
- Ensure up to date knowledge of status of account at all times;
- Attend and lead client meetings where appropriate;
- Maintain awareness and understanding of current issues relating to client and product area;
- Advise clients on necessary programme changes/external issues and question and challenge client in a manner appropriate to the company and individual client;
- Interpret client needs and priorities;
- Ensure speedy responses to client enquiries;
- Demonstrate innovation and creativity beyond client ideas.
New business
- Identify new business opportunities from existing clients;
- Participate in development and presentation of new business proposals and pitches.
People management
- Provide clear and accurate briefings to all personnel tasked with project implementation;
- Proactively alert the leadership team of the Market Access division to client or programme issues and recommend strategies and solutions;
- Supervise other team members and provide on the job coaching;
- Advise/provide counsel to team members in the team leader’s absence;
- Actively support team members in achieving development goals.
Organisational
- Ensure understanding and implementation of all OHWMA procedures and quality standards;
- Contribute to OHWMA business through activity such as company presentation on area of expertise, or involvement in a training/marketing/operating procedures initiative.
Marketing and profile
- Support the OHWMA leadership team in the implementation of a comprehensive marketing plan;
- Promote the interests and reputation of OHWMA (both internally and externally).
Market Access knowledge/expertise
- Build/further knowledge of Market Access related issues and stakeholders;
- Follow developments in key disciplines that can support Market Access;
- Develop understanding of competitors and their activities.
Salary
- Salary will be commensurate with experience.
