Sales Manager Region Volga
The role
The Sales Manager is required to set priorities and ensure that CRU&CIS Sales team resources are utilized effectively and efficiently through the CRU\Volga Region and to achieve market share growth in direct sales in the CIS Region, as measured by defined business targets and under the aspect of expected profitability. Set up of strategy and efficient usage of resources. Regions of responsibility: CRU/ Volga (N.Novgorod, Samara, Toliatti, Ufa, Saratov)
Key performance areas and responsibilities
You will be required to:
- Determine required resources to prepare, offer and deliver a RUS/ Volga budget broken down in customer level, coordinate this with CEE-Sales and local Managers.
- Formulate the actions and processes to be implemented to achieve the targets. Set up, follow up and break down in customer level, coordinate this with CEE-Sales and local Managers.

- Ensure strong cooperation within the region CEE and EMEA, for Sales projects, focus products and application focus
- Assure the implementation of the business strategy through the definition of objectives for Sales Engineers in line with sales targets and focus areas.
- Assure the implementation of Sales Action Plan performed by Sales Engineers related to the sales targets and sales objectives
- Assure the correct use of sales tools among the Sales Engineers.
- Assure joint customer visits in order to help the sales force to sell higher pushing, pulling and coaching.
- Assure the analysis and data check of monthly sales follow-up in order to update the Sales Engineers action plans.
- Assure the quarterly data follow-up organizing meetings with Sales Manager and Sales Engineers in order to analyses and if necessary realign single sub-areas objectives.
- Assure the coordination of support activities performed by central functions and pushing actions on sales force in order to implement those activities.
- Assure the preparation and implementation of Coromant Events based on Sales Manager indications
Your profile and qualifications
The role will require you to have
- Mechanical Engineering Degree (College or technical school, university degree is a plus)
- At least five years of engineering experience within mechanical sector and/or three/four years of operational experience in metal cutting
- Two/three years of people management experience
- Two/three years of practical business administration (e.g. responsibility for cost centers,profitability calculations, profitability KPI analysis).
- Knowledge of metal cutting production and market (eg. Market development, new technologies) as well as experience in project management.
- Leadership on high level and under the aspect of multicultural environment
- Knowledge of English and Russian languages on negotiation level
- Driving license B (car)
