Sustainable Energy Engineering Key Expert (Russian-speaking only)

(Estimated number of working days 880 over a period of 4 years, estimated start date April 2013, Location still to be determined, but in one of the following countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova or Ukraine)

The project will support local authorities in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine to develop and implement sustainable energy urban development projects which will be funded by the EU.

Qualifications and skills

• University degree of at least 3 years attested by a diploma in engineering or other relevant field;
• Demonstrated technical ability to implement urban development projects;
• Strong written and oral communication skills as well as strong inter-personal and negotiation skills are essential;
• Fluency in English and Russian is essential.

 

General professional experience

• At least 10 years professional experience;
• At least 5 years of experience with project management;
• Strong familiarity with Project Cycle Management and Logical Framework Analysis.

 

Specific professional experience

• At least 3 years of experience as an engineer in the implementation of sustainable energy projects in local authorities;

·         Professional experience in at least two of the following countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
