Zeppelin University is seeking to appoint

Two research associates
(PhD candidates) for the Energy
Cultures Junior Research Group

in part-time (80%) at the next possible date. The Research Group is funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) for four years; a one-year extension is possible.
Your responsibilities
| Conducting a sub-project on research policy and knowledge transfer in the context of sustainability and energy transitions in Germany or the EU
| Contributing to project management, organisation of workshops and seminars, and knowledge transfer activities of the research group
| Dissemination of research results in conferences, reports, and academic publications.
| Writing a PhD thesis
Your profile
| Very good master's degree in social science or cultural studies
| Good theoretical knowledge of science and technology studies, innovation studies or research policy preferably in combination with knowledge of sustainability and energy issues or knowledge
| Knowledge of qualitative research methods and interest in undertaking extensive and rigorous empirical research
| A curious, committed, and responsible team player with organizational skills
| Excellent command of English

The salary follows pay scale TVL-E 13 (80%) for the German public service.
