The educational charity Juris Angliae Scientia Ltd provides courses (taught in English) on common law, EU law and international commercial law in Central and Eastern Europe. One course is taught at the British Law Centre in the Law Faculty of Warsaw University, where visiting lecturers from the UK are supported by the team of resident tutors. In addition the tutors take Seminars and Tutorials in Universities elsewhere in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. Information on courses can be found at www.britishlawcentre.co.uk. For the academic year October 2012 to June 2013, the British Law Centre needs one new tutor. The tutor should be a qualified law graduate, who also holds at least a master's level degree in law. He or she must be able to conduct seminars and tutorials in basic common law subjects and in European Union law, who can also assist in some of the more advanced subjects taught.

The remuneration package for the twelve months of employment is in the range of €26 - 27,000 (euros) which includes accommodation and services (valued at €7,500) provided in a pleasant house in the New Town of Warsaw which is close to the university. An allowance for the flight to Warsaw and baggage expenses is also provided by the organisation, as are travel and accommodation costs for all tutors' visits to other universities.
