£21,171 - £25,251 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.
Based in the University's award-winning Communications & Marketing team, the Digital Communications Officer will be responsible for managing and delivering a wide range of digital, social media and online content and for assisting the Digital Communications Manager with the creation and development of video and social/digital media content. The post holder will have specific responsibilities for the University's main social media and digital channels and will be experienced and proactive in social media and digital marketing and communications.
Candidates should be educated to HND level (or equivalent) and have work experience in a relevant role or a proven track record in a similar role. Candidates should posses excellent copywriting skills, be creative and experienced in managing social media and digital channels, and be comfortable working to strict deadlines across multiple projects. Experience in editing and/or producing video content would be beneficial, although not essential.
Hours of work are 36.25 per week. This is a permanent post.
