Based in Oxford, UK or Belgium, Brussels

Salary: £41,961 per annum
Oxfam is an international confederation of 17 independent, non-governmental organizations working together in 92 countries, as part of a global movement for change, to build a future free from the injustice of poverty. This powerful global movement is coordinated, supported and led by the International Secretariat based in Oxford, UK with advocacy and campaigns offices in Washington DC, New York, Brussels, Geneva, Brasilia and a liaison office with the African Union in Addis Ababa.
We are looking for a world-class campaigner to lead one of Oxfam's most successful global campaigns. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a record of making a difference to lead Oxfam's Essential Services campaign, working with Oxfam teams and allies to take this thriving campaign to the next level.
This post will provide overall strategic leadership to the Essential Services campaign, work with Oxfam’s senior campaign leadership team to ensure success in our advocacy and campaigning work, and manage a small team of campaign and advocacy staff.
We are looking for someone with excellent skills and experience in design and delivery of successful global campaigns and integrated approaches to advocacy and campaigns that include research, policy, lobbying and media work.
OI is a diverse and complex organization so the ability to gain understanding quickly, analyze and problem solve is essential.
The successful applicant must be able to travel for up to 10 weeks a year and must be fluent in English. Additionally, fluency in French and Spanish is highly desirable.
The successful candidate must have the right to work in the UK or Belgium.
