RIT Dubai seeks an exceptional leader to become its second President. Established in 2008, RIT Dubai provides world-class university programs in the United Arab Emirates for students and professionals from the Middle East, North Africa, South East Asia and beyond. RIT Dubai is one of three global campuses affiliated with the main Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) campus in Rochester, NY, USA. RIT is an international leader in professional and career-oriented education. Founded in 1829, RIT is a privately endowed, coeducational university with nine colleges and institutes emphasizing career-oriented education and applied research. With approximately 15,000 undergraduates and 3,000 graduate students, RIT is one of the largest private universities in the United States. It has been ranked first or second in academic reputation among regional universities in the North for more than 20 years by U.S. News & World Report.

The President of RIT Dubai is the campus’s senior administrative officer responsible for strategic planning, academic affairs, research enterprise, financial and administrative operations, and external relations and outreach. He or she is the principal representative for RIT Dubai and its constituent programs and units and works in collaboration with RIT faculty, staff, deans, and other senior leaders of the university, with the RIT Dubai Board of Directors, and with business leaders in the region. The President will be a visionary and entrepreneurial leader, experienced in higher education or the private sector, who will be ready to address the challenges of articulating a vision, building programs of the highest quality that are responsive to the needs of the region, growing enrollment, and maintaining full and active communication with RIT’s main campus.
