You’ll have a sound working knowledge of the Internet, video production, multimedia production processes and (interactive) software, as well as experience of writing for television and web with good copywriting skills. You’ll need to be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the Children’s audience and what appeals to them as well as a strong editorial sense and an ability to develop content both produced in house and externally with the audience in mind. You’ll have previous experience of managing and developing team members and knowledge of TV production processes and ability to communicate and work effectively with production teams would be advantageous as would the ability to self-shoot and knowledge of editing systems.
