CBBC & CBeebies Interactive teams are looking for a flexible, creative and highly motivated Assistant Content Producer to join them. You will need to bring a fresh approach and new ideas to become a key member of our talented and diverse team. We need an individual who can help shape the future of interactive and its relationship with broadcasting.

Role

You will have the opportunity to develop a broad set of skills within a team which encourages innovation and is looking to push the boundaries, pioneering more integrated ways of working across different media. BBC Children’s forward-looking approach marries the best of linear programming with highly engaging multi-media interactivity, which means you’ll be working at the cutting edge of the media industry.

Requirements

You’ll have a sound working knowledge of the Internet, video production, multimedia production processes and (interactive) software, as well as experience of writing for television and web with good copywriting skills. You’ll need to be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the Children’s audience and what appeals to them as well as a strong editorial sense and an ability to develop content both produced in house and externally with the audience in mind. You’ll have previous experience of managing and developing team members and knowledge of TV production processes and ability to communicate and work effectively with production teams would be advantageous as would the ability to self-shoot and knowledge of editing systems.
