Inside Out North West is a weekly regional current affairs TV programme which transmits on primetime BBC1. The team also produces documentaries for both, regional and network audiences as well as studio debates.

Role

The Broadcast Assistant role on Inside Out mirrors that of a Production Management Assistant within the BBC’s Production Management structure. As such, the BA will provide administrative support to the production team, in order to ensure the smooth and efficient running of productions and is seen as a development opportunity for someone looking to forge a career as a Production Co-ordinator.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong background in administration and be a first class organiser. You’ll have good business and finance skills with the ability to understand and work with budgets. You’ll also have excellent communication skills and the ability to make decisions with authority and under pressure along with the ability to build strong, productive working relationships with colleagues in other BBC departments as well as with outside organisations. Experience in a pressurised and challenging environment is also essential.
