TENURE TRACK OR TENURED POSITION IN BUSINESS/ECONOMICS IN RUSSIA
which can be filled on any of the three levels of the tenure track system: Assistant Professor (1st or 2nd term), Associate Professor or Full Professor.
The area of the professorship is broad since the position may be located at any of the seven Departments of the School of Business. The decision on the location of the position depends on the profile of the candidate.
The candidate should have a proven track record of publications in international refereed journals or be able to demonstrate excellent potential for conducting research that meets high international standards. The research profile of the candidate may cover one or several of the following areas:
- corporate behavior at the micro level in terms of e.g., foreign direct investments undertaken by Russian companies overseas or foreign companies in Russia, human resource policies and practices in Russia, management of supply chain, management control issues of foreign direct investments and subsidiaries in Russia
- industry level analyses of selected business sectors
- macro level analyses of e.g., the local business environment, labor market and consumer behavior, economic restructuring in Russia
- multilevel research in terms of e.g. the interplay between local institutions and corporations
- industry level analyses of selected business sectors

We expect the candidate to have excellent language skills in English and a good command of Russian.
The applicants will be reviewed on the basis of their research, teaching and academic leadership and activity in scientific community.
The salary is determined based on experience and qualifications according to the salary system of Finnish universities. Applicants may also provide salary requests.
