Reservoir Engineer Manager

Growing Operator based in Oman Looking to take an aggressive growth strategy. 

Job Description:-

• Specifying (in conjunctions with the Production Technologist / Well Completions Engineer a Data Acquisition Programme to define success of fractured placement and long term well performance.  
• Quantify the dynamic uncertainties behind the estimation of recoverable reserves and use a variety of methods to calculate long term well performance and recovery factors.  
• Ensure reservoir, geological and production data are collected in a timely manner.
• Work within and contribute to an appraisal and development within the subsurface team.
• Ensure that HSE standards are followed; promote behavioral-based safety principals within the work place.
• Ensure that reservoir simulation, reservoir modeling and well test design/fluid and rock evaluation and analysis are correctly performed.
• Provide input for field appraisal and development planning and assist in complying with Petroleum Engineering policies.

Candidate Requirements:- 

• Experience      of building, maintaining reservoir simulation models and interpreting      output is essential as is the ability to analyze production and test data      to determine well performance / dynamic reservoir properties.
• He/She      should have management characteristics, skills and expertise to manage      multi cultural and multi discipline teams.
• He/She      should be a skilled communicator and have the ability and desire to      establish amicable relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong      sense of urgency combined with disciplined decision making and problems      solving skills.
• Must      have a BS in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent with at least 10 years      experience in reservoir operations and simulation within an Oil and Gas      Company.
