Consulting Opportunity: Senior Specialist – Integrated Financial Sector Supervision

Location:  Jakarta, Indonesia

The Australia Indonesia Partnership for Economic Governance (AIPEG) is an AusAID-funded project assisting Indonesia to undertake economic and financial policy reforms. Norton Rose Fulbright Australia, the Managing Contractor, seeks applications for the position of Senior Specialist - Integrated Financial Sector Supervision. The remuneration for this position is set within the AusAID Adviser Remuneration Framework (ARF) at up to Discipline D - Job Level 4. The duration of the appointment will be 90 days between July and September 2013.

The applicant must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills, attributes and personal qualities:

• extensive experience in Financial Regulation in the specific area of consolidated supervision;
• experience in the merging of regulatory institutions to form a consolidated supervision agency, i.e. FSA development;
• deep understanding of the principles for the supervision of financial conglomerates as established by the joint committee of Basel Committee, IOSCO and IAIS;
• extensive international knowledge of countries’ experience in developing consolidated supervision models; and
• experience in the review of markets, including emerging markets, with demonstrated experience in similar exercises such as World Bank/IMF FSAPs, etc. would be well regarded.

REMUNERATION:
The remuneration will be set within the AusAID Adviser Remuneration Framework (ARF) which can be found on the AusAID website (http://www.ausaid.gov.au/Publications/Documents/adviser-remuneration-framework.pdf). For the purposes of the ARF, this position is designated as Discipline/Job Level “D4”.
