United Nations Young professionals programme 2013

Are you motivated to make a difference in the world? Are you selfless and driven to be a part of a bigger purpose in the service of humanity?
The young professionals programme (YPP) is a recruitment initiative that brings new talent to the United Nations through an annual entrance examination. The examination is open to nationals of countries not adequately represented among the staff of the Organization. For young, high-calibre professionals across the globe, the programme is a platform for launching a career at the United Nations.
This year the examination is offered to candidates with academic backgrounds inAdministration, Finance, Public Information, Legal Affairs and Statistics.
If this is you, you may qualify to take the young professionals programme examination held on 3 December 2013 in locations across the globe.
The application periods are:
3 June to 1 August 2013 for Administration, Finance and Public Information;
8 July to 5 September 2013 for Legal Affairs and Statistics.
Applications from women are strongly encouraged.
