In response to the current situation in the Philippines, Save the Children is in the process of putting together a team to support our emergency response. We are looking for experienced field managers to provide operational expertise and support to our upscale in the country and surrounding areas, specifically to our field offices in Tacloban, Estancia and Ormoc. Successful individuals will be expected to lead on all aspects of managing large or multiple field bases including budget development and management, agency coordination and representation, security, logistics and management of multiple teams. They will also play a key role in building capacity at field level, and in the effective scale up and management of Save the Children emergency programmes to increase impact and enable positive change for children.

These roles are expected to last for at least 12 months, with the possibility of extension thereafter.
We are interested in hearing from you if you have good experience of working in a similar role in an emergency or you can demonstrate experience of working in similarly complex countries or environments (please outline this in your cover letter).
