Position- Analyst- GFC

Group Description:

This position is a part of DTT Global Finance which deals with the financial reporting, analysis, planning, forecasting, expenses/costs detail support, transactions and related areas in support of business unit(s) within the DTT organization. The Analyst level 3 will assist in matters pertaining to financial operations management in support of the functional/regional controllers and other financial analysts as needed. The role may also produce analysis of Deloitte's internal revenues and related financials statistics and key performance indicators. This position will report to the DTT Global Finance, Business Unit controller

Job Responsibilities:

1. Firm Project Reporting and Analysis - Supports high volume (60+ annually) tracking, reporting, and understanding of status of consulting investment projects. Includes monthly leadership report to global consulting and global service area chiefs of staff on an accurate and timely basis. In addition, works with budget holders & provides project analysis to plan.

2. Communication- Work as part of finance team (controller/finance manager, others) supporting "client" (business unit leadership) needs by demonstrating strong communication skills. Position requires frequent communication and follow-up with varying levels of personnel outside of DTT finance organization including partners, directors, senior managers and various staff levels in support of budget management and other financial information.

3. Standard and Adhoc Reporting- Will be assigned monthly reporting responsibilities ( such as T&E expense reporting) and support on an as needed basis varying requests to controllers/finance Manager over and above the day to day reporting needs. This will include use of SAP FIG system.

4. Teaming - Works as a team member in providing value-added services as part of an integrated, virtual team.

5. Budgeting - Responsible for the day to day management of the firm project budget, including reviewing and coding individual expenses/billings, transaction flow, and account reconciliation to ledger.

College degree with emphasis in finance and accounting is required; with 2 - 4 years related experience in General Ledger, cost /expense, revenue analysis preferred. Advanced computer application skills in Microsoft Excel, along with strong analytical, project management and organizational skills are a must. Effective communication skills and an ability to work in high volume and fast paced environment are keys to success in this position. Working knowledge of SAP and Essbase is preferred. Ability to work in a team environment is critical.
