Position: Analyst- Reporting & Analytics

Service Line: Strategic Procurement Services

Key Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for providing operations analytical support to Strategic Procurement Services. This group includes Strategic Procurement Services (SPS) and Global Travel.

• Responsibilities include:

  · In conjunction with Manager, develop reporting formats and timetable to establish regular reporting routine for all areas in Strategic Procurement Services.

  o Creation of usage and spend models for national categories including technology, telecom, outside professional services, real estate, office services, temporary help and meetings.

  o Preparation and distribution of SPS monthly operations report.

  · On established schedule, run routine reports, check data integrity and troubleshoot as required to ensure data accuracy.

  · Respond with quick turnaround to internal clients' ad hoc requests for information and reporting.

  · Participate and contribute to system/reporting improvement initiatives and new tool implementation efforts.

  · Support operations team with special reporting and analysis, in order to contribute to firm leadership briefing documents, sourcing efforts and supplier relationship management.

1. Education requirements: Bachelors degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration or related field.

2. Necessary Prior Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a procurement role.

3. Required Specific Skills:

· Strong research and analytical skills -mastery of MS Excel and Access or other database program.

· Demonstrated ability to work independently and produce results with minimum direction.

· A "customer service" orientation and ability work under tight time constraints.

· Experience as a contributing member of a cross-functional team, with ability to build consensus among people.

· Highly organized with excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

· Competence with MS Word and PowerPoint.

· Experience with the strategic procurement process in a large decentralized environment is preferred.

4. Required Technical Skills:

· Knowledge of SAP reporting capabilities preferred.
