British Council Literature Assistant

Based London

£18,000 per annum plus London Market Allowance of £3,300 per annum

The Literature Department of the British Council works with writers and literature professionals to promote international collaboration and professional exchange. We build relationships between reading, writing and publishing communities in the UK, and those around the world.

We are looking for an outstanding literature project assistant who has solid experience in project administration and can used their knowledge and passion for Literature to deliver the British Council’s international cultural relations projects.

You will have: excellent administrative and team working skills; a track record in good customer service; knowledge of contemporary literature and contacts with the UK literature constituency and a graduate or postgraduate qualification in literature or equivalent experience.
