Grant Manager , University of Notre Dame Haiti Program

Founded in 1993, the University of Notre Dame Haiti Program is active in eliminating Lymphatic Filariasis (LF) in Haiti by 2020. The primary duties of the Grant Manager will be to coordinate, and compile quarterly and annual reports that are to be submitted to funding sources. In addition, the successful applicant will assist the Principal Investigator in identifying future funding sources that complement the goals and mission of the Notre Dame Haiti Program (NDHP).

Pursuant with our mission, NDHP is active in the distribution of antihelminthics during Mass Drug Administrations (MDA), producing fortified salt with antihelminthic drugs, coordinating visiting medical missions, and conducting research. The successful applicant will be actively involved with all of the above areas. In addition, the Grant Manager will present proposals to federal offices, and foundations (ex. USAID, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation). This position requires that the successful applicant live in Leogane, Haiti, the operational headquarters of NDHP in Haiti, but will travel as needed including to the University of Notre Dame near South Bend, Indiana.

Qualifications: Applicants should have a degree in science or management with 2-3 years of management experience. Previous experience writing successful grants is important, and multi-lingual skills in French or Haitian Creole are highly desired.
