Technical Specialist in Social Security (Project Manager)

The position is located in the Observatory Branch of the ISSA. The Observatory Branch is the area responsible for developing the knowledge base necessary to reach the new ISSA’s objectives. The incumbent reports to the Chief of the Observatory Branch and will be responsible for managing and coordinating projects, in particular related to the Centre of Excellence, through the development of a complete set of guidelines and the Social Security Barometer, aiming at supporting ISSA members in their efforts to effective and efficient management. The Centre of Excellence will be the expression of all the activities related to the production and dissemination of management standards in the various fields of Social Security mandate. This will be made through a set of guidelines addressing the most relevant areas of Social Security organizations management and the International Barometer of Social Security Administrations. Project management covers but is not limited to the establishment of project planning, implementation, evaluation and responsibility for taking the necessary steps to achieve planned outputs, namely meetings, working groups, relations with Technical Commissions and publication of up-to-date project information on the Web portal. The incumbent may be called upon to work in task-oriented teams to contribute to ISSA activities within the area of competence.

Technical Officer - Social Security Analyst

The position is located in the Social Security Observatory Branch (SSO) of the ISSA. The SSO is the area within the Social Security Centre, responsible for developing the knowledge base necessary to reach the ISSA’s objectives. The incumbent reports to the Chief of the Observatory Branch. The incumbent is responsible for undertaking technical and professional project implementation in the activities of the Observatory Branch, in particular in the area of health and the timely delivery of defined project outputs. The incumbent undertakes technical work in the area of specialization and may be called upon to work in task-oriented teams to contribute to ISSA activities within the area of competence.
