Objectives of the placement:
- To plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- To manage challenges/obstacles in directing effective fundraising programmes.
- To define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
- To direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
Requirements
Specialization: Law, Social Sciences, Economics, Business.
- Fluency in written and oral English. Knowledge of French strong asset.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and within an International/multicultural environment;
- Strong organisational skills and possibly project management experience;
- Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.
- Experience working within the EU institutions, or relevant consultancies, trade associations or NGO;
- Very good verbal and written communication skills, computer literate (e-mail, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Additional information
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support the IJJO aims in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
