WWF-Greater Mekong, Finance Officer

WWF-Greater Mekong is seeking to recruit a well-qualified and experienced candidate for the position of Finance Officer, based in Hanoi, Vietnam. The Finance Officer is responsible for the full spectrum of the accounting process of WWF-Greater Mekong office including the consolidation from all country offices and at the regional itself. S/He is also responsible for the quarterly consolidation reports to WWF International and financial reports to donors for regional projects. S/He assists the Finance and Administration Director, WWF-Greater Mekong in ensuring the compliance of finance and accounting systems, policies and procedures from WWF-Greater Mekong, WWF International and donors.

Key requirements are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting or in relevant fields, ACCA qualification or equivalent is preferred
• 3 years of working experience in Finance and Accounting management at regional level
• Understanding of international finance and accounting systems and of local systems of a country in Greater Mekong Region
• Knowledge of finance and accounting practices in countries in Greater Mekong Region
• Experience in developing, managing and monitoring finance and accounting systems, policies and procedures, preferably in the context of an international organisation
• Experience of working in multi-cultural environment
• Excellent technical skills of financial management and analysis, report writing, planning, organisation, time management, facilitation and coordination, and virtual support
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Proficiency in accounting software (ACCPAC) and MS Office.
