In this role, you will ensure compliance with BHP Billiton’s commitment to Zero Harm, which will include demonstrating a record of uncompromised values for Sustainability, Integrity, Respect, Performance, Simplicity and Accountability.
You will function within a team of Production Information Engineers and ensure the adherence to safe execution of all work activities. A key focus area will be to provide specialised technical support and expertise within the production sub-functions. As a Production Information Engineer, you will also participate in promoting health, safety, environment, quality and housekeeping standards within your department.
Serious contenders will have a National Diploma/BSc degree in Information Systems or Computer Science with more than 2 years’ manufacturing execution system (MES) experience. Programming or proficiency with Oracle databases, SQL, PLSQL, Oracle forms and reports will be advantageous.
