The following positions are available:
1X HARVESTING (TYGERSKLOOF)

Reporting to the Area Manager, the incumbent in the position will assist with the management of forestry plantations in the respective areas.

Core KPA ’s: As per productivity, governance req. and dev. requirements of Work Plan Unit W.P.U. (Silvics) • Conduct quality and safety audits • Ensure compliance to FSC requirements • Maintenance of and compliance to all SHEQ standards • Budget and silvics/harvesting contractor control (incl. Standing Sales contractors – harvesting) • Engage local communities and maintain effective communication channels with local authorities • Production planning and adherence to APO targets • Ensure data integrity of compartment info • Database • Active engagement in Fire Protection and Security Management.

Min Requirements: • Snr Silvics: Min 6 yrs exp at least 3 yrs in Mngmnt role • Harvesting: Min 3 yrs exp.; BSc. or Diploma in Forestry • Valid Driver Lic • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work under constant pressure • In-depth knowledge of field of expertise • Track record in Fire Mngmnt • Computer and GIS lit. • Openness to experimental/changing Forestry work environment • Sound Business Acumen.
