UNHCR CAREERS

Established in December 1950, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is mandated to lead and coordinate international action to protect and assist refugees and other persons of concern. In more than six decades, UNHCR has helped tens of millions of people restart their lives.


UNHCR works in 125 countries to care for the world’s millions of refugees, internally displaced, and stateless persons. Currently, we are seeking to recruit top-rate professionals to strengthen our workforce in certain areas and are advertising a selection of positions which are open to external applicants.

The organization is particularly looking for people with the following profiles:

  • Finance and Project Control
  • Information Management
  • Donor Relations
  • Refugee Protection, including Refugee Status Determination
