The Compliance Resource Specialist will assist Planned Parenthood Affiliates in their efforts to develop, implement, revise and oversee Corporate Compliance Plans. The Specialist will work with Planned Parenthood Affiliates to ensure that Affiliate Boards of Directors, management and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, Affiliate policies and procedures are being followed and Affiliates foster a culture of compliance.

Primary Job Duties
- Provide conference calls, webinars and other educational programs to Affiliates.
- Assist Affiliates in their administration of a Corporate Compliance Plan.
- Advise the Affiliates' Compliance Officers with respect to creating, implementing and overseeing an effective Compliance Plan.
- Act as an expert with respect to compliance matters requiring external reporting to regulatory and law enforcement agencies and advise Affiliates to seek assistance from local counsel as necessary.
- Work with Affiliates to educate and communicate the importance of good corporate citizenship to all Affiliate employees, contractors and business partners.
- Assist Affiliates in developing and coordinating effective Affiliate based compliance training and education for all employees, contractors and business partners.
- Effectively communicate ethics and compliance standards to the Affiliates.
- Identify potential areas of Affiliate compliance vulnerability and risk and provide general guidance on how to minimize exposure.
- Monitor federal and state legal and regulatory requirements and provide Affiliates with general guidance related to maintaining effective Compliance Plans.
- Manage any grants Affiliates receive related to compliance.
- Collaborate and coordinate with other PPFA departments, including Business Operations, Quality, Office of the General Counsel, Accreditation and Evaluation, Affiliate Billing, and ARMS regarding compliance activities and trends.
- Assist Affiliates with Enterprise Risk Management activities to reduce and prevent areas of exposure while fostering the Affiliates' mission and strategic goals.
- Assist Affiliates in educating and training Affiliate employees, contractors and business partners in carrying out Enterprise Risk Management functions.
- Develop, initiate, maintain and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of Affiliates to prevent illegal, unethical or improper Affiliate conduct.
- Assist Affiliates to apply risk reduction techniques to reduce or eliminate identified exposure; create subsequent plans of corrective action and opportunities for further improving systems.
