| Description: | NetCentrics is looking for a Lead Project Manager to manage a small team of Project Managers that facilitate, track and manage IT Projects for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD). This position will be working at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA and is only open to U.S. Citizens with a DOD Security Clearance. Secret is required and Top Secret or higher is preferred. Responsibilities of the Lead Project Manager include: -Manage a team of Project Managers that will be working with OSD customer organizations and interfacing with Technical Task Leads (TTL) for Engineering projects and Application Development Managers (ADM) to deliver new services and modify current services within the OSD infrastructure and environment -Plan the projects within existing SOPs -Interface on a number of levels within the DOD Infrastructure, Storage and Network -Delegate and monitor the progress of resources and deliverables while managing and identifying risks within a challenging workflow -Deliver results of projects for the OSD internal customers on time -Communicate effectively with internal OSD customers, program owners, and between teams within the OSD organization -Understand and document new requirements as well as collect and communicate level of effort and schedule -Provide mentoring and assistance to team members -Track, review, coordinate and improve the work product of the team Qualifications: -Minimum of 7 years Project Management experience required. 3 years of that must be in the DOD environment -PMP certified -Experience managing a team of direct reports -Experience managing IT and/or software development projects while meeting deadlines and delivering results -Demonstrated history of navigating complex environments and delivering results in spite of political and communications challenges -History of making long term relationships with clients based on thorough planning, timely and professional communications and intelligent problem-solving. -This position is only open to candidates with a DOD security clearance Desired Skills: -Microsoft Technical Certifications (MCP, MCSA, MCTS, MCSE, MCITP) -ITIL certification -Experience with tracking projects using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Server -Experience Building/Maintaining and Administering a Microsoft Project Server environment -Knowledge of Best Practices for the design of Secure IT Environments -Knowledge of the Agile development cycle The right candidate must appreciate and exemplify the NetCentrics culture as described by our Core Values.
